Owl Tours in January

8:12 PM

January has been a busy month!  I've led a number of owl tours here in Ontario over the past few weeks and the results have been great.  Despite the cold weather we had lots of owl sightings including 11 Snowy Owls in one day.  In addition to owls many other birds were observed including Bald Eagles, Rough-legged Hawks, Snow Buntings, Horned Larks and Northern Shrikes to name a few.  Here are some photos of four species of owls observed during the tours.
