Reptiles of South Florida: Video

10:49 AM

Our video of the Reptiles of South Florida is now available. As we mentioned in our recent South Florida: Reptiles and Amphibians blog entry we found many exciting creatures during a recent private chartered tour to Florida. This video includes video footage of some of the reptiles we encountered. Highlights include:

  • video of a young Gopher Tortoise munching on some plants
  • video of one of the smallest snakes in the world the Brahminy Blind Snake (or Flower Pot Snake)
  • video of an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake shaking his large rattle
  • video of a Dusky Pigmy Rattlesnake demonstrating its defensive behaviours (head bobbing and tail wiggling)

Our "Reptiles of South Florida" video can be seen at the bottom of this post or on the Natura Tours YouTube Channel. All of our other videos can also be seen via our YouTube Channel.

Happy Herping!
